Oh the challenges of getting 5 people to all look and smile at the same time! Sometimes you just have to take what you can get!

Computers

Soren got this Thomas computer for his second birthday and the kids LOVE it. I think it ranks in the top 3 all time favorite toy! Even Ian loves it! It was definately worth every penny. Even though the mouse no longer works and so you can't play some of the games, it doesn't matter - they Love it anyway!

Lastest Cullinary Adventure

Mmmmm....Doesn't this look good? We bought some blackberries at the Farmer's Market and used them to make a pie. I had never made a blackberry pie before and I must say it turned out quite good. This is actually my second pie (or what was left of it when I remembered to take the picture!

Pictures

We had pictures taken again of all the Richards Grandchildren in July. They have to take a certain number of poses so they got some of my kids by themselves too.

Creative Culinary Skills

Sometimes I impress myself when I come up with something fun like this. However, don't be too impressed since the idea wasn't original! Soren and Abigail think I'm cool anyway and that's what counts!

More Summer Fun

We love being outside in the summer. Sometimes just to play and sometimes so that Mom doesn't have to clean up messes! Abigail sure did enjoy the cupcake!

A Day at the Park

In the beginning of the summer we would go to a park on Friday mornings and play. Soren and Abigail's favorite things to do were the slides. I was much more afraid of them going down the big slide by themselves than they were (especially Abigail who knows no fear!)
