My First Shiner

Ian got his first black eye Tuesday. He was sitting on the floor playing with this:

He was reaching for the top that was upside down in front of him. I suppose it was just out of his reach so he toppled forward right on top of it. Talk about feeling like a bad mom. I was sitting right there, but couldn't catch him in time.

Not to be left out!

It's sometimes hard to get a good picture of Soren! He likes to make silly faces and jump around when the camera comes out. Then almost before you can even get the picture taken he runs up to the camera saying "I want to see! I want to see!"

Soren really likes these jammies even with the hole in the leg.

I just really liked this expression for some reason!

7 Months

It's hard to believe that he is 7 months old today! He has even begun to give me hope that he will sleep through the night soon. 4 nights in a row I have not had to get up and feed him! I have had to get up and roll him over and give him his binky back, but at least not feed him. If you could hear me, you would hear me shouting praises to the Lord!

A Day at the Zoo

We went to the Louisville Zoo with our friends the Westerfields. It was a fabulous day!

We rented this "stroller" for Soren and Alyce. It was great because they could get in and out easily. Abigail wanted to ride in it as well. It worked for about 2 minutes!

Soren has been intrigued by his leopard toy so he thought it was cool to see a real one.

Update

Just thought I would post an update to my last post. I mentioned that Ian cut his 1st tooth last Wednesday. Last night I noticed that he has cut 3 more. No wonder he hasn't been feeling great! He now has his 2 top laterals (each side of where the middle will be), and 2 bottom middle teeth. I am pretty sure this is the same pattern that Soren's teeth came in, but Soren didn't cut them all at once!

We went to the zoo today so I hope to get some pictures up soon. It will be a few days though because Ian and I are going out of town for the weekend to meet my best friend's baby (who is almost 7 months old now!) We had such a gorgeous day and so much fun!
