Abigail's Birthday

We hosted our first official birthday party for Abigail a couple of weeks ago. For those of you who know me, I want you to be impressed that my dining room table is cleared off and decorated for the party!

Lots of fun!

Doesn't it just look like so much fun to have so many children around? We kept the 2 children of some friends of ours for a weekend back in March and we had so much fun! It was sad to see the weekend come to an end and I look forward to the next opportunity we have to keep them (hint, hint Travis and Sarah!:) It's too bad I don't have a picture of all of us around the table for a meal!

Then a couple of weekends ago my long time friend from college came to visit for the weekend. Her son is about 3 1/2 weeks older than Ian.

Cincinnati Children's Museum

We went back to the Duke's Energy Children's Museum in Cincinnati the end of May. I think we could play there all day for a month and the children would not tire of it. It is Fabulous!

Ian LOVES cars and buses.

Of course, he would rather be driving! The Water area is always the favorite!

Soren Story

Here is a conversation recently between Soren and his daddy.
Soren: "Daddy, one day I am going to get married by Alyce."
Daddy: "You mean 'to Alyce.'"
Soren (with a very serious look): "No, One Alyce!"
And then, not to be left out, Abigail adds her two cents worth: "And one day I am going to get Noah married!"
(Alyce and Noah are some of Soren and Abigail's favorite friends!)

Easter Trip to TN

These are just a few pictures from our Easter trip to TN. The weather was finally nice enough (sort of) for us to play outside alot. Abigail and Ian discovered the joys of playing in leaf piles and sand piles. (I think Soren was off somewhere chasing the beloved puppy dogs!)

Back Again

Someone got on to me today for not ever updating my pictures. I bring my camera to my desk all the time to download pictures for the blog, but somehow get sidetracked (usually trying to get them downloaded and organized on the computer) and they never make it. So tonight I decided to update the blog first. Here are a few recent pictures. We recently went to a fish fry with our Sunday School class.

Abigail was sure she could sneak up on the geese.Soren enjoyed the hammock. These are just a few of Ian since I didn't have any of him from the fish fry.

He sure does enjoy his food. Any volunteers for cleaning him up?
